Food is amazing. Everything was so flavorful and the veggies were very crispy and fresh. Service was very fast and incredibly nice/welcoming. This place is very down to earth vibes.
Great food - highly affordable for the DC area! You can smell the food before you get in. The Ayran yogurt drink deal is definitely interesting - it tastes like a salty watered down yogurt, which for some may be a little sour. Each option is customizable with lettuce, tomatos, onions, pickled cabbage, pepperocini, and sauces like garlic mayo, tahini, and a spicy sauce. But as always with places like this, isn't more better? Adding everything just created a flavor storm for me - not to mention the beef is highly seasoned and just plain yummy. The fries are the ones you think of later on - crunchy but thick enough to have a soft interior. Shoutout to the staff as well - kind, friendly, and asked everyone how their food was. Don't hesitate to ask for the sauces on the side too!
Delicious! My chicken doner wrap was flavorful and filled with veggies. I couldn't finish it so I'll be saving the other half for dinner . The staff is incredibly friendly, they even gave me a free sample of their chocolate baklava. Would definitely recommend, hope this helps!
Stopped in for lunch and grabbed a Chicken Shawarma. I added all the toppings minus the spicy sauce - wish I had tried the Garlic sauce (next time!). We sat and chatted for a while and the owner brought us Hot tea. Will definitely go back to try other items on the menu! Easy to pick up too!
Best shawarma gyro I've had in a while. I like Capital Doner's shawarma because its thin wrap is full of deliciousness. The shawarma was freshly cooked on the spot. The gentleman that prepares it will ask what fillings you want. I ordered a combo that came with a wrap, side of fries and a drink. The perfect trio! Do yourself a favor and check out Capital Doner! I definitely will be back! The tiny gem has a lot to offer. The line can get long, however it's worth the wait. The staff is kind and the food is amazing. There is indoor and outdoor seating.
